As many of you know I’ve been needing A LOT of motivation these days, so I have found that coming across quotes here and there have helped me re-focus when I’m feeling blah. With that said, here are 50 of my favorite motivational quotes:

These are interesting motivational quotes because they are mostly centered around change, goals, creativity, and proving that you can do whatever you set your mind to. I know I said these wouldn’t be corny – and I don’t think that they are – however, I do think that maybe I might sound a bit corny (sorry). But in all reality, I had my first panic attack the other night. I was in bed, just about to fall asleep when my mind started swirling about the upcoming work day, then the week, and then the rest of the month. I started to have a hard time breathing and I began to cry. I had to count and make myself take deep breaths. It didn’t last long, but it freaked me out. I need to find the courage to take back control of my mind and soul which the stressors in my life have hijacked. Look for a new job…how do you do that when you work 50-60 hours per week? Revamp your resume…OK – maybe I’ll do that during my lunch hour (when I’m not working through lunch). I know what I need to do – that I need to invest time into myself again – but how do you do it when there isn’t enough time in your day?

So, I leave you with one last quote – “The mind is everything. What you think you become,” Buddha. This will become my mantra, because my mind and worry is what is hurting me. If I begin thinking differently, “I CAN revamp my resume if i carve out 15 minutes every day for a week to dedicate to doing so,” and “I WILL spend 30 minutes every night looking for new opportunities to better myself and my career.” I can do this, it just takes time. So, in the meantime I will re-read these 50 motivational quotes and work on getting my mind and spirit back on track.
